Access at the Gateway Film Festival 2024

Physical Access to the Screening Space.

Angle Gaming Lounge has step free access to the rear of the building from the car park.​

 

John Clare Theatre has a lift to get you from the ground floor up to the theatre space. If you require a lift you will need to be escorted to the staff lift as the public one is out of service.​

 

Gladstone Park Community Centre has step-free access.

​​

Gladstone Connect has step free access.

​​

Key Theatre Studio If you are a wheelchair user you will need to be escorted to the ramp as the wheelchair lift is out of service.

Seating

Angle Gaming Lounge will have flexible seating options, including a soft matt and chairs. Chairs are moveable.

​

 

John Clare Theatre has fixed seating with two designated wheelchair spaces.

​

 

Gladstone Park Community Centre has flexible, moveable chairs.

 

Gladstone Connect has flexible, moveable chairs.

​

 

Key Theatre Studio has fixed seating with designated wheelchair spaces.

Parking

Angle Gaming Lounge has a free car park to the rear of the building.

​

 

John Clare Theatre has no available on-site parking. There is limited on-street parking around the venue.

​

 

Gladstone Park Community Centre has a large free car park with multiple accessible parking spaces.

​

 

Gladstone Connect has no available on-site parking or on-street parking. The nearest car park is the Deacon Street car park.

​

 

Key Theatre Studio has a large pay-on-exit car park with multiple accessible parking spaces.

Public Transport

Angle Gaming Lounge is on the 101/201 bus route.

 

John Clare Theatre is a 10 minute walk from Queensgate Bus Station.

 

Gladstone Park Community Centre is a 25 minute walk from Queensgate Bus Station or can be accessed via the 3 bus route plus a 10 minute walk.

 

Gladstone Connect is a 10 minute walk from Queensgate Bus Station.

 

Key Theatre Studio is a 15 minute walk from Queensgate Bus Station. The nearest bus stop is the Rivergate stops.

Relaxed Screening

A relaxed screening takes place in an environment that is specially tailored for a neurodiverse audience, as well as those who find a more informal setting beneficial.

 

For our screening of The Holdovers on Saturday 9th of September:

 

-The lights are dimmed, though not off

-The volume is lowered.

-English Subtitles will be on during the film.

-Seating is unallocated

-Audiences are encouraged to get up and move around, or speak or make noise if they want to/feel the need to.

-The film will be introduced

-There is a quiet room available for anyone who needs it
